In short
Special Minds provides ABA (applied behaviour analysis) therapy for children in Hubballi-Dharwad. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) assesses your child's skills, designs the programme with you and supervises the trained therapists who deliver it, at home, at school with the school's agreement, or online with parent coaching. The first goals are usually the ones that change the day most: asking for what your child wants, coping with transitions, and the self-care steps of the morning routine. Progress is reviewed against measurable goals, and you see the data.
Families in Vidyanagar, Keshwapur, Gokul Road, Saptapur and Malmaddi, and across Karnataka, with an autistic child or a child with developmental delay, speech and language delay, or behaviour that gets in the way of learning and family life. We work with the CBSE, ICSE and Karnataka state board schools of both cities, from Vidyanagar and central Hubballi to Dharwad's older neighbourhoods, and with the developmental paediatricians, speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists the family already trusts.

Questions
Questions
Is your ABA therapy in Hubballi-Dharwad supervised by a BCBA?+
Yes. Every programme is designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, who reviews progress against measurable goals. Ask us for the BCBA's name; you can check the credential on the Behavior Analyst Certification Board's public registry.
Can ABA sessions happen at home or at school in Hubballi-Dharwad?+
Both, and online too. We cover Vidyanagar, Keshwapur, Gokul Road, Saptapur, Malmaddi, Navanagar, and the neighbourhoods around them. Sessions at school need the school's agreement, so we speak to the inclusion coordinator or principal before anything starts.
What does ABA look like for a young child?+
Mostly play. Good ABA for young children teaches through the child's interests, in short, varied activities, and notices when a child wants a break. Parents are shown how to use the same strategies in everyday routines.
Will the therapist speak our home language?+
English always, and Hindi or Kannada where the candidate pool allows. Tell us on the brief which language your child is most at ease in.
How soon can ABA start in Hubballi-Dharwad?+
It begins with an assessment. We then tell you plainly how soon a therapist can start near you, and whether online parent coaching can begin sooner while sessions are arranged.
Do you also provide speech or occupational therapy?+
No. ABA is the one therapy we provide. With your consent we work alongside your child's speech-language pathologist and occupational therapist, so everyone follows one plan.
