In short
Special Minds introduces qualified special educators to families whose child has an ABA programme. The special educator works with your child at home in the hours between therapy sessions, practising the skills the analyst is teaching in everyday routines, using the same prompts and rewards, and keeping notes the analyst can use. The plan comes from your child's behaviour analyst, Special Minds' own BCBA or the one you already work with, and the special educator adds school learning and daily-living skills around it.
Families whose child has an ABA programme and needs consistent, structured support at home after school, during holidays, or between therapy hours. Often a parent works long days, grandparents or a helper share the care, and the household needs one adult who knows the plan well.

Questions
Questions
Is a special educator the same as an ABA therapist?+
No. A special educator is a teacher trained to work with children who learn differently. With the analyst's direction they practise the plan's strategies at home, alongside schoolwork and daily-living skills; the ABA programme itself is designed and supervised by a BCBA.
What will the special educator work on?+
The skills your analyst and family agree: requesting, play, self-care routines such as dressing or packing the tiffin, school readiness and homework, using the same prompts and rewards as the ABA programme so your child meets one approach all day.
Will they keep data?+
Yes, in the format the analyst asks for, so the plan can be reviewed on evidence from home as well as from sessions.
Can you provide the ABA programme too?+
Yes. Special Minds provides BCBA-supervised ABA therapy. If you already work with an analyst, the special educator follows their plan instead.
