In short
Special Minds provides ABA therapy at home for children across India. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) assesses your child's skills, writes the goals with you and supervises the trained therapist who comes to your home. Sessions use your own space and routines, the dining table, the bathroom basin, the shoe rack by the door, so the skills your child learns are the ones they need in their real day. Progress is measured against the goals, and you are shown how to use the same strategies between sessions.
Families whose child learns best in familiar surroundings, whose week is already full of school and other therapies, or who live far from a centre. Home sessions suit young children, children who find new places overwhelming, and goals that belong at home: eating with the family, dressing, toileting, sleep routines, playing with siblings and coping when guests arrive.

Questions
Questions
Is home-based ABA as good as a centre?+
It depends on the child and the goals. Home suits self-care, family routines and children who find new places hard; a centre can suit goals that need other children or particular materials. Many programmes combine settings, and the BCBA advises which fits your child.
Who will come to our home?+
A trained ABA therapist, supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who designs the programme and reviews progress. You can ask for the BCBA's name and check the credential on the BACB's public registry.
Do I need to be present during sessions?+
For young children, a parent or carer nearby is usually part of the plan, and parent coaching is built in. As goals change, the BCBA will say when you join in and when the therapist works one-to-one.
We live in a joint family. Can everyone follow the plan?+
Yes, and it helps. The BCBA can write short scripts for grandparents, helpers and siblings, so your child meets the same responses from everyone at home.
Do you provide speech or occupational therapy at home too?+
No. ABA is the one therapy we provide. We work alongside your child's speech-language pathologist and occupational therapist, with your consent, so the goals fit together.
