In short
Special Minds introduces vetted remedial teachers who tutor online: structured literacy and numeracy for a child with a learning disability, on a fixed weekly timetable, working to the psychologist's report and the school's IEP. Online suits older children, families outside our eight cities, and homes where the commute makes visits unreliable. The remedial teacher is verified, referenced and interviewed to the same standard as every placement, and the placement is supervised and reviewed.
Families in smaller cities and towns, families in our eight cities where traffic makes home visits impossible, and families with a child of about class 4 upward who can hold attention on a screen with a well-run session. Younger children usually do better at home.

Questions
Questions
Does online work for a child with a learning disability?+
For many older children, yes, with a well-run structured session. For younger children and those who need movement and hands-on materials, we recommend a remedial teacher at home.
What do we need at home?+
A quiet corner, a laptop or tablet with a camera, and an adult nearby for the first sessions.
Can sessions be in Hindi or the city's regional language?+
Where the pool allows. Tell us on the brief.
Can online move to at home later?+
Yes, in our eight cities.
