In short
Special Minds introduces vetted shadow teachers to families in Bengaluru. A shadow teacher supports your child one-to-one inside the school day, at the school's invitation, and helps them follow the lesson and the routine alongside their classmates. Candidates are verified, referenced and interviewed twice before you see the file. We coordinate with the school's inclusion team before the first day, and review the placement at one week, thirty and ninety days, with a replacement guarantee.
Families in Whitefield, Indiranagar, Koramangala, HSR Layout, Jayanagar and along Sarjapur Road, often with both parents working long days and a child in an international or ICSE school that has asked for classroom support. Many homes are bilingual, English with the city's regional language, and the brief records that.

Questions
Questions
Which schools in Bengaluru accept shadow teachers?+
Policies differ by school. We ask the inclusion coordinator directly rather than assume, and we are candid if a school's answer is no.
Traffic is a real problem here. How do you handle it?+
We shortlist by the school's location and the candidate's own commute, and we agree a start time with the school that the shadow teacher can keep.
Can the same person continue at home after school?+
Yes, and for many families that continuity is the point. We write both into one placement.
Is this therapy?+
No. Your occupational therapist, speech-language pathologist or psychologist sets the plan. The shadow teacher carries it into the classroom.
